Teaser. I'll post actual recipes tomorrow...maybe. This was good though...

I have not been blogging, but things have been happening. Usually things are great. Sometimes, things are a bit rocky for me and the manfriend...or mostly just the manfriend. He can be, well, unlucky.

case and point. As we stood on the front step of my apartment, we witnessed this ridculosity.

BAL of .277 is probably not ok to drive. Not like i'm a docta or anything.

Girlie, you hit a parked car. For realz. 8K in repairs.

oh no Honda. MF's infiniti flew about 5 feet, and tapped my bumper. ouch.

then...the fish tank overflows and floods the apartment.

At least I got to pick out replacement fish. Yep MF lets me pick out all the fish... He was raised correctly I tell ya:)

And. The Madison menu now includes smoothies courtesy of the newly purchased magic bullet. Blueberries, almond milk and spinach... yum

yes there is more

While I was in glorious WI a rat was trapped in the toilet one floor below me for 24 hours. Now, he is missing. Wet, mad, and missing. Ghetto sewer rat. sick, omg.

Yum! I think we need to have a cousin dinner when you or I move. or both times. I need to do some serious research/practice to live up to your culinary abilities, though. ;)

Wow, manfriend has had a string of bad luck! Eeks. Still can't believe the whole hitting a parked car thing. Wowsers.

That is awful about his car!! So frustrating, especially with the reasoning for it's occurance!! :(

That dish looked incredible, look forward to the recipe!

I need to attempt these spinach-smoothies. They look delicious.

I am having a difficult time wrapping my head around that rat issue over there in St. Paul.

I have been researching juicers, ever since our last visit to Ecopolitan. Hmmm, in the meantime, a Magic Bullet. Maybe dad would like one for Father's Day!

Big points on the fish tank, there MF!!!

I am dreaming about a bullet. Abby-you really can't taste the spinach at all, Josh adds protein powder to his which also tastes great. Lisa-Cousin dinners for sure!! I already have a side dish idea :)

I cannot comment on the freaked out. didn't sleep a wink last night because every time George tickled me toes I freaked out and turned on all the lights.
