Car probs. The beloved 95 camry broke down in the middle of NOWHERE Wi. One crying blond, 2 hours, and a greasy old mechanic later the problem was identified. One part is sucking oil into another part. This my friends is bad. I made it home, but that's about it. The "wheels" where set in motion, thanks to the family mechanic who treats me like a child (which may or may not be warranted). Whalah, Suzanne has a new set of wheels.
Woot. AND a car payment. Boo. I wish I thought cars where cool. Then, this would have been way more exciting. It does have a legit CD player, and get this, the windows roll down! High rolla! That's all I have to report. I made taco dip this weekend, because the thought of making something classy was just not going to happen. Beans, Sour cream, Salsa, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and olives. Served with Tostitos. Delivered in my sweet new ride. Fancy.

How does it feel to be on your own? Like a rolling stone?
Love you!
Very clever, Dad. Very clever.
Dad. Home may be the only place I can actually find. Not too fun to be on my own though, that is for sure. I would much prefer singing that song with my arm out the window on the passenger side :)
Ugh, I hate car problems. And car payments. I am hoping I can make my honda last at least another 3-4 years so I don't have to make any car payments for awhile. I'm with you on cars not being 'cool'. So the payment? Totally not worth it... Well, it's worth it in the sense that you can get from point a to b, but I will never understand people who NEED to have a new car every 3-4 yrs...
Sweet set of wheels, Suzanne! I remember my first set of wheels! My Dad bought it, delivered it to my apartment with the invoice of how much I owed him! Wow, it was a brand new Olds Cutlass with a vinyl roof! He did a good job, but I think if I was going to buy a car for one of my kids and expected them to pay for it, I may have given them a chance to help pick it out. Times were different back then! Enjoy the ride!
